Chapter Title: Chapter 1009 - Hell

Color spread: the Straw Hat band plays in the snow with Tama, Komachiyo and Bunbuku (the teapot from Tama's house that ate the Inu Inu no Mi model Tanuki)

Summary:
The fire is still spreading inside Onigashima castle. The Red Scabbards run into Orochi and Fukurokuju on the way, both are shocked.

Fukurokuju: "Orochi-sama, they don't know that you've already died once.Please run and let me handle the Red Scabbards."

Orochi says he can't since inside the castle is filled with enemies. Besides the Red Scabbards are heavily injured, so Orochi thinks he can take them on. Orochi then mocks the Red Scabbards about Kanjuurou, saying that he's also fooled by Kyoshiro so it's even now. Orochi then transforms into his Yamata no Orochi form and attacks.

In an epic double spread, the Red Scabbards cut all of Orochi's head at once. Kinemon says they have no time to waste with him (he's implying that Orochi is not dead yet?) so they will leave his judgement to hell. The Red Scabbards continues on but Raizou stays to fight Fukurokuju.

Raizou: "I have misjudged you. I didn't expect you to fight for such a fool to the very end."

Fukurokuju: "I could say the same about you. It is fate that we will have to fight each other at last, Raizou!"

Cut to Onigashima rooftop. Kid asks Law why he can't just transport one of the Yonkou somewhere else. Law replies that he'd do that long ago if he can, but their Haki is too strong so he can't move them anywhere.

Big Mom suggests to Kaidou that they attack together and finish all Supernovas in one blow.

Kaidou: "I hope your legs and hip are still good enough, old hag!!"

Big Mom: "Who do you think you are talking to, boy!!"

Big Mom and Kaidou: "Hakai (覇海 Conquering the Sea)!!!"

Hakai (覇海) is an upgraded version of Hakoku (覇国). Big Mom and Kaidou have the same pose than Dorry and Brogy, but we see the attack from above them. The attack is devastating, probably the most powerful attack in all One Piece until now (in TOP 3 100% sure).

Big Mom and Kaidou use a massive combined attack, they swing their weapons at the same time and send massive wave at the Supernova which is too fast for any of them to dodge. However, Zoro blocks the attack with his swords.

Zoro: "Get out of the way or we will all die!!"

Big Mom and Kaidou attack destroys part of the island. Law transports Zoro out in time so he survives but is heavily injured. Kid thanks Zoro for managing to slow down the attack even if he managed to do it for 1 second.

Luffy immediately jumps again and uses "Gomu Gomu no Red Hawk" at Kaidou, but Kaidou dodges it before Luffy can complete the attack. Luffy smiles.

Luffy: "So you have to dodge it because this can actually hurt you, right?"

Kaidou hits Luffy with his Kanabo. Luffy is thrown away but he manages to block the Kanabo with haki-cladded arms. His arms hurt but Luffy is still fine. Kaidou follows up by shooting a beam from his mouth at Luffy that dodges it. Then Kaidou jumps up and uses "Kouzanze Ragunaraku" (降三世 引奈落 Three-world Ragnarok) an attack where he spins his Kanabo around with a lot of black thunder coming out before striking down on Luffy.

Back to Big Mom Vs. the other Supernova. Kid creates a metal box then tells Law he is ready. Law then uses "Chambres" to transport Zeus into the box.

Killer and Zoro (that is still coughing up blood) then attack together. Zoro uses “Homurasaki” to slice up Prometheus while Killer attacks Napoleon, separating both of them from Big Mom.

Kid then uses “Punk Pistols” to shoot multiple metal arrows at Big Mom.

Big Mom: "Do you think you can win just by separating them from me?"

The arrows don’t work on Big Mom at all. She then punches Kid down to the ground. Kid takes Big Mom punch in full but he then grabs her arm and uses “Repel”, bouncing Big Mom’s body up into the air. Law then uses “Takt” to throw a huge rock at Big Mom.

Big Mom: “Why do you still think these rocks can work against me?”

Then Big Mom realizes that the rock has pushed her off the edge of Onigashima, and below her is only the sea. Big Mom then summons Zeus to help her, but Zeus is still trapped in Kid’s box.

Law: "If we manage to stop them from helping her, then there’s one player off the stage!"

Big Mom starts to fall into the sea...

Supernova barely managed to escape the Hakai attack. Zoro used "Homurasaki" and "Rokudou no Tsuji" to slice down Prometheus. And Kidd took Big Mom's attack on purpose so that he could 'Repel' the metals on his arm to throw her off.

Chapter Title: Chapter 1008 - Head of Atamayama Theives, Ashura Douji

Cover page: Robin creates wings for a horse that wants to fly

Summary:
Chapter starts and the same point from last one. Oden says he came from the past with Toki's power. He's here to help them defeat Kaidou. He then asks the Red Scabbards to go with him. The Red Scabbards are in tears and they are about to follow Oden.

But Ashura stops them saying this must be a fake Oden. Raizou agrees, asking everyone to remember Toki's word ("People cannot go back to the past"). Raizou adds Oden died on that day and the fact will never change.

As they talk, Oden approaches Kinemon from behind with a blade in his hand. Ashura tells Kinemon to wake up already. He then punches Kinemon out of the way and take Oden's blade instead. Ashura slices Oden's cheek but there's no blood. It's revealed that this Oden is a Kanjuurou's painting.

Ashura: "I understand.
I want this to be the real Oden-sama.
We all do."

Kiku: "Sorry, I couldn't kill Kanjuurou."

Ashura: "Don't worry.
When it's against one of our own nakama, the blade won't be as sharp."

Denjiro fights fake Oden and the other Red Scabbards try to find Kanjuurou. But fake Oden (Kanjuurou) says it's no use. Kanjuurou is controlling this painting from far away which is causing him lose a lot of energy. Thanks to Bao Huang information, he's now heading to kill Momonosuke.

Fake Oden then lights a bomb attached to his chest in order to blow the Red Scabbards up along with himself. Ashura notices it and order everyone to go help Momonosuke. He then jumps at fake Oden, both of them fall off the window together. Then the bomb explodes, Ashura is burned badly and he doesn't move.

The Red Scabbards exit the room and find Jack blocking their path. Jack was delayed by the Minks that tried to protect their king. Inuarashi asks everyone to go, he will face Jack alone.

Jack: "You know there's no full moon in here..."

Inuarashi: "There's no poison gas either!!"

Cut to another part of the castle that is on fire. The one who is setting fire is Orochi. He's alive and running around the castle, setting fire to burn Onigashima all down along with all Kaidou's forces. Fukurokuju is with him, he's using a shuriken to silence Kaidou's men who happen to see Orochi.

Cut to Yamato group. Momonosuke explains that when he's shocked or sad sometimes he suddenly turns into a dragon, but he can control it much better now. Momonosuke wishes he can turn into a monster like Kaidou so he can be more useful to everyone.

Yamato: "I wonder if Luffy is alright...
I want to go and help him to defeat Kaidou as "Kouzuki Oden"!!"

Momonosuke: "Luffy is weakened but he's still fine!!"

Shinobu: "Uh!?
How do you know that, Momonosuke-sama!!?"

Cut to Onigashima rooftop. Luffy tries to attack Kaidou again and again but he is thrown away every time he attacks. Luffy wants to keep attacking, saying his attacks must work eventually because Kaidou is a human just like them. Zoro warns him that they should think of another way. Killer comments how he's surprised that Luffy can still call Kaidou "human".

Law: "Somehow, we need get one of them away from the battle first."

Zoro: "I agree."

Kid: "Seeing both of them side by side like this... this is just like hell!!"

In an amazing final spread, we see Kaidou in hybrid form standing side by side with Big Mom.
Kaidou's hybrid form looks like his human form but with scales on his shoulders, arms, legs, and face. He also has a tail, fangs and additional horns.

Luffy: "I've been through hell many times!!
This is nothing to me!!!"

Kaidou: "Strawhat!!
No matter what, your "eyes" are always alive!!" (This is a common phrase used and the better nuanced translation would be that his spirit has not died yet.
As "eyes" symbolize the will/spirit of a person in japanese.)
